Social Campaign Design

A pasta special worth walking in for

Nar Café & Bistro is a concept project: an imagined Mediterranean bistro built to carry one key visual across a full campaign rather than a single ad. The same warm, low-lit photograph runs as a web banner, an Instagram crop, the post as it would sit live, a hanging signage board and a leather menu cover, all in gold on black. It’s self-directed spec work, made to show campaign thinking end to end rather than a live client brief.

Project overview

Nar Café & Bistro is a concept project rather than client work: a fictional Mediterranean bistro invented to design a full campaign end to end, from the pomegranate mark through a seasonal key visual to the signage and menu that would carry it in the room.

The key visual

The brief was a pasta special, so the image does the selling: a low-lit tabletop, a glass of wine catching the light, and the plate itself finished with basil and cherry tomatoes. The gold serif wordmark and a hand-lettered Pasta Special sit inside a frame of thin gold branches, warm against the near-black background rather than shouting over it.

One picture, several formats

The same photograph is cropped three ways: a wide banner for the web, a taller Instagram-ready version that pushes in closer on the plate, and the post itself, mocked up live on the Nar Café account with a caption and the campaign hashtags below it.

Beyond the screen

The identity carries past the post into the physical: a hanging signage board for the storefront and a leather-bound menu cover, both keeping the same gold-on-black palette and the pomegranate mark, so the brand reads the same whether it’s scrolled or walked past.
